Nullabill Speedy is a proud Guwamu/Kooma elder from the Bollon area in south west Queensland. He has more than 30 years experience in tourism industry and worked as a guide specialising in outback tours from Adelaide to Alice Springs, as a ranger on K'gari (Fraser Island) and as a senior cultural officer at Brambuk Cultural Centre at Gariwerd (the Grampians) in Victoria.

He has been painting for many years and his artworks often depict the harsh landscapes found in his traditional country around Bollon - red sand, salt lakes, mulga trees and saltbush.
