Kudditji Kngwarreye (c.1928 - 2017)

Kudditji Kngwarreye was the younger brother of the late Emily Kame Kngwarreye, one of Australia's foremost First Nations artists who passed away in 1996. Kudditji painted this artwork to express his deep sorrow for her loss. It is one of the last artworks he painted in this style.

Kudditji Kngwarreye was born around 1930 near Boundary Bore in the Utopia region of the Northern Territory. He started painting around 1986 and in 2006 was named as one of the top 50 most collectable artists in Australia by Art Collector magazine.

This stunning collector's artwork will become a treasured family heirloom.
